"The Challenge" - film in Space
Yellow, Black and White studio, Channel One and the state corporation Roscosmos will create and produce a feature film in space for the first time in history. This will be a joint co-production under the working title "The Challenge".
The project will be directed by Russia's renowned director Klim Shipenko, who earlier directed Russia’s highest-ever grossing film ‘Son of a Rich’, and 2019’s box office hit ‘TEXT’.
The plot of the film focuses on a flight to the International space station (ISS), which is scheduled for the fall of 2021 on the Russian manned transport ship Soyuz MS.
At the moment, the parties are discussing the film’s details– the script, the technical capabilities of filming, and the cast.
