Dmitry Dyachenko, director: "It was one of the most emotionally vivid trip in my entire creative career. In Kazakhstan, the nature of incredible beauty and diversity. We were constantly surviving the weather conditions – we could shoot for two or three days in a cold, windy steppe, and then move to a hot desert. During one long trip (more than a month), we were in 6 completely different places in terms of atmosphere.
In the center of the plot is Finist (Kirill Zaitsev), the most daring hero of the White Mountains, the strongest, most agile and most beautiful. Together with his assistant Melekha (Sergey Lavygin) and Baba Yaga (Julia Peresild), Finist embarks on a difficult journey to the eastern lands.
